I have just returned from one of the best holidays that I have ever had. Four of us (family members) went (all first timers), and we all fell in love with the place. It was everything that I expected and more.. The weather was brilliant, blue skies everyday. Because this place got something Explorable and Enjoyable Vibes. I didn't go there on a honeymoon, but I did go with a girlfriend. for her Birthday. Yes, it is a good place to go if you like luxurious resorts, semi private nice clean white sandy beaches (you wont be bothered by aggressive souvenir or food sellers), tropical climate, and ocean full of marine life. It is especially good place if you like to scuba dive or snorkel. However, it lacks interesting cultural or historical attractions. No ancient temples, no traditional performances, no interesting museum. So if your ideal honeymoon involves laying around tropical white sandy beach all day in semi privacy with occasional dives or snorkel sessions, Maldives is the right place to go.

I Think Pattaya is most enjoyable place for family as well as couples. There are many beautiful sites to explore.. I will recommend those who love nature and beaches and islands as well.
