There are plenty of luxurious resort on different islands that provide the best services to make the experience of the Honeymooners memorable. Couples get to enjoy the beauty of the place , for a lot of time with their partners. There are wonderful beaches and beautiful Water Villas . If one is Interested in making the trip adventures, one can also go for snorkeling , scuba diving and other water sports.

I didn't go there on a honeymoon, but I did go with a girlfriend. for her Birthday. Yes, it is a good place to go if you like luxurious resorts, semi private nice clean white sandy beaches (you wont be bothered by aggressive souvenir or food sellers), tropical climate, and ocean full of marine life. It is especially good place if you like to scuba dive or snorkel. However, it lacks interesting cultural or historical attractions. No ancient temples, no traditional performances, no interesting museum. So if your ideal honeymoon involves laying around tropical white sandy beach all day in semi privacy with occasional dives or snorkel sessions, Maldives is the right place to go.
