Overlooking the splendid town of Krabi, Wat Kaew Temple is a wonderful Buddhist temple dating back to 1887. With an impressive entrance flanked by beautiful golden dragons, Wat Kaew Temple is symbolic of Thai style and architecture. The intricately decorated temple boasts of having the Emerald Buddha which is one of the most popular images of Buddha carved from a single stone. 

The statue dates back to the 15th century and shows Buddha in a meditating position. The temple features many relics of Buddha and charms the tourists with beautiful interiors. Located in the centre of the town, Wat Kaew Temple is a great place to add to your bucket list of thins to do in Krabi.
