Elephant Sanctuary in Krabi is a haven for the rescued elephants that once worked in the logging or for tourism industry. Located around the lush forest and river, the sanctuary provides a safe and loving home for our gentle giants friends. You will join either a half-day morning slot and afternoon slot. English speaking friendly guides also included in the ticket who teach you about elephant behavior and show you how to feed them.
During the Elephant Sanctuary tour, you can also bathe them in a calm river, giving them a mud spa to make them relax. The elephants roam freely, without chains, and choose whether they want to interact with you . Lunch, water, and safety equipment are provided. You’ll gain special memories from seeing these animals thrive in nature, learning their stories, and feeling their gentle presence.
This sanctuary follows strict ethical rules - no riding, no shows, no chaining. It focuses only on elephant wellbeing and education. It’s ideal for anyone who cares about animals and wants to help support a kind and respectful wildlife experience.

- If the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be arranged based on the customer’s preference.
- A new confirmation voucher will then be sent via email.
100% Refund
- Cancellations made 4 days or more before the activity date are eligible for a full refund.
Date Change Option
- For cancellations made 3 days or fewer before the activity date, refunds are not available.
- However, customers can opt to reschedule the activity to a new date (subject to availability).

This was the highlight of my Krabi trip! Spending time with elephants in such a natural and caring environment felt surreal. They were so gentle and friendly when we fed them. The best part was joining them in the river for a splash it was so much fun! The staff showed genuine love for the animals and educated us about conservation. Animal lovers should make time to visit Krabi's Elephant Sanctuary. Without being chained or given rides, I adored how the elephants were treated with dignity and compassion.
